Official secret ballot
Cast your ballot
0 votes are currently open.
Your vote is secret — by architecture, not by promise.
You never enter your name here. Your credential was randomly generated, and your ballot is
encrypted the instant it is cast and stored with no link to you, your credential, or the time
you voted. Not even the election committee or the system administrator can see how you voted:
opening the sealed ballots requires multiple key shares held by different people, and even then
ballots carry no identity. The committee can see that you voted (as election observers
are entitled to), never how.
Lost or never received your credential? Contact the election committee — they will void the old
one and issue a replacement. Per IAFF model rules, an alternative way to vote is available to any member who chooses not to
vote electronically — ask the committee for a paper ballot.
